Thank you for choosing Micro Endodontics. In our practice the most state-of-the-art technologies are used to diagnose, treat and save your teeth. We give you more than just dental treatment, but the education and information you need to understand what we do, and the value it gives to your oral health.

A local anesthetic will be given. A sheet of latex called the “rubber dam” (we’ve got nonlatex ones too) will be placed around the tooth to isolate it, hence keeping it clean and dry during treatment. The treatment consists of three or four basic steps, but the number of visits will depend on your particular case. Some treatments take 2 visits but many are just a single visit. Occasionally 3 appointments are needed.

In any case, it depends on the degree of infection/inflammation and degree of treatment difficulty. To me, it’s more important to do it the very best we can then to meet a specific time criteria.

Once endodontic therapy is completed your tooth should be examined periodically, usually every 6 – 12 months. This allows us to make sure the tooth has healed or is healing properly. Since an abscess may take 2 years to heal, our office will reevaluate the tooth for at least 2 years.

We accept various insurance plans including Aetna,Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Delta Dental, DenteMax, Diversified Dental Services, GEHA/ Connection Dental, Health Plan Nevada, Liberty (Choice Only), Metlife, Preferred Dental, Teacher Health Trust, United Concordia, and United Healthcare. We also accept Care Credit up to 6 months interest free.

In case of an emergency, all referring dentists are given Dr. Biggs cell phone number, and each patient is also given his personal cell phone when they leave the office. We will accommodate any emergency that is in pain. Dr. Biggs will stay late, or come in on off days for emergencies when it is possible.
